Cybertruck boasts an electric range of around 318 miles on off-road tires. The range on his homemade Hummer is around 100 miles. The Cybertruck also gets 240V power outlets and two 110V plugs for charging external appliances. His Humvee lacks it.

The Cybertruck has a towing capacity of 11,000 lbs, while the electric Hummer can tow about 5,000 lbs safely. Using the low-range Atlas transfer case, the electric Humvee has a wheel torque of 12,847 lb-ft, while the Cybertruck offers 10,296 lb-ft. Furthermore, the Cybertruck can charge using a 350 kW DC fast charger with 800V architecture, while the make-shift electric Hummer can just do 8 kW AC charging with 450V architecture. The Cybertruck also has a frunk which the Humvee doesn’t. Also, Cybertruck has a 48V system, whereas the DIY Hummer has a 12V system. Both these SUVs technically have 4WD. Finally, due to the all-wheel-steering, the turning radius of the Cybertruck is tighter than the Hummer.
