Tesla’s much-anticipated Cybertruck claims to be bulletproof, as per Elon Musk. In a video shared on Twitter by Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley, a pre-release Cybertruck is shown driving with bullet-like indentations. Musk responded to speculations about the vehicle’s bulletproof capabilities within 10 minutes of the video’s posting, clarifying the situation for social media users.
We emptied the entire drum magazine of a Tommy gun into the driver door Al Capone style,” Musk wrote in response to YouTuber Farzad Mesbahi re-posting the clip. “No bullets penetrated into the passenger compartment.”
