Talking about the prices, the single-motor RWD version would most likely be priced at $40,000. While this looks quite promising and enticing, it is still much more expensive than traditional pickup trucks. That could be a challenge for the largest EV maker in the world. In addition to that, the lack of charging infrastructure could be another factor proving to be a deterrent to the mass adoption of Tesla Cybertruck albeit the latter reason is a more universal factor and not a Cybertruck specific.

Specs

As usual, Tesla has been tight-lipped about most specifications of the Cybertruck. But we know that there will be single-motor RWD, dual-motor AWD and tri-motor AWD configurations on offer to make it more accessible to a wider range of audiences. Being a gargantuan electric truck, there will be loads of cameras, radars and sensors to ensure safety and drivability in tight spaces. The power figures could be in the vicinity of 700 hp and the range could be around 612 km. In the most aggressive settings, 0-60 mph can be achieved in mere 2.9 secs. Let us see if Tesla is able to keep the timeline this time around.
