Entry-Level Tesla Illustrated Digitally

This digital rendering, created by SRK Designs on YouTube, showcases a distinctly Tesla-inspired front section. The resemblance is thanks to Tesla’s minimalist design philosophy. The sleek LED headlamps, for instance, pay homage to other EVs in the carmaker’s lineup. The bonnet is designed with a streamlined profile, emphasizing aerodynamic efficiency. The lower bumper section displays clean lines, incorporating horizontal LED DRLs. Examining the sides reveals smoothly contoured body panels, complemented by a conventional alloy wheel design. Notably, the vehicle incorporates flush-fitting door handles and black detailing around the windows. Overall, the digital designer adeptly captures the quintessential design language characteristic of Tesla.

On a global scale, Tesla is preparing to reveal an entry-level model that remains nameless at present. This model will rival competitors such as the Renault 5 and VW ID.2. Elon Musk suggests an appealing $25,000 price tag. The objective of the Model 2 is to expand Tesla’s market presence and facilitate broader access to electric mobility on a worldwide scale.

Tesla’s Expansion Plans

Tesla commits a substantial €5 billion investment towards the establishment of its Gigafactory in Brandenburg, Germany. It will serve as the brand’s maiden European facility. Currently producing the Model Y crossover, the plant will have a higher capacity of an impressive 1 million units annually. As part of its expansion plans, Tesla is gearing up to introduce the $25,000 car from this facility in the near future. Concurrently, there are indications from Indian trade minister, Piyush Goyal, that Tesla is planning to double the importation of components from India.

According to Goyal, Tesla aims to source components valued between $1.7- $1.9 billion from India this year. This is a notable increase from the $1 billion worth of components bought last year. Bloomberg reports suggest that Tesla is on the verge of finalizing an agreement with India, allowing it to export its electric cars to the country starting next year and potentially establishing a manufacturing facility within two years.
