In this video, a Tesla Model X’s door crashes against a bus. Model X has the famous gull-wing doors that open upwards. That is the trademark of the Model X. You must’ve seen such doors in supercars in the past and also in movies. But Tesla has brought it to life with their EV. While these look aesthetically pleasing and cool, some people always find a way to commit to something idiotic with them. That is exactly what ends up happening this time around. Tesla Model X’s Door Crashes Against Bus

Deducing by the surroundings, it looks like it is somewhere in the middle of the city. There is a double-decker bus plying on the road when the Model X comes from behind. Strangely enough, the gull-wing door of the EV is open on one side but the driver is still travelling on the road without having any sort of consideration for it. Tragedy strikes when it comes closer to the bus.

Interestingly, the Tesla driver doesn’t apply brakes and ends up hitting the bus from behind. The glass area of the bus is shattered and the side panel comes off as the EV passes through. That is when the door retracts back to its place but it was too late then. The driver finally applies the brake but the damage was already done. Surprisingly, the door didn’t come off despite hitting the bus at an awkward angle. In any case, no one was injured in this case but things could have gone wrong quickly.
