Tesla holds the title of being the largest electric car manufacturer globally, leading the way in the future of transportation. It deserves credit for swiftly bringing about this mobility revolution. What seemed like a distant idea is now becoming a reality, with most major car manufacturers announcing plans to go carbon-neutral in the next decade. For now, let’s dive into this unique situation.

Tesla Car With Diesel Engine
This post comes from silversurfermodel3 on Instagram. It captures an image of a few people standing next to a complete contraption. There is a Tesla car with its hood open. Interestingly, these people have somehow fitted an entire engine there. Looking at the smoke coming out of it, it is most likely a diesel mill. The cylinder configuration, intake and exhaust manifolds and other engine components are visible. It is fascinating to see how they were able to squeeze in this mill considering that the size of the frunk is generally tiny.

This Is Not The First Time
Believe it or not, this is not the first time we have seen people installing IC engines on electric cars. Another case appeared a few weeks ago where a man installed a diesel engine on his Tesla. That changed its credentials entirely. It was capable of travelling 1,600 km on a single charge. The creator had to construct an engine covering to protect the inside from heat and sound. It is just mad to think of a Tesla being driven with diesel fuel. The very basis on which the company was founded is shaken.

While a lot of details about this project are not available, we don’t see the purpose of such a creation. Sure it could be used for educational purposes as a project car. But to drive it out on the highway would definitely be illegal. Don’t try to imitate this without thinking. Turning an eco-friendly car into one that runs on diesel, and emits carbon, doesn’t make sense. It contradicts the purpose of electric cars. It ends up causing more pollution – first in manufacturing EVs and their batteries, and then by using diesel. But when it comes to being creative, it’s indeed an exceptional setup.
