It seems that Tesla is progressively introducing rear displays in its vehicle lineup. Recently, the electric vehicle manufacturer unveiled the highly anticipated Model 3 Highland, featuring a rear display akin to the ones found in the Model S and Model X. A recent video, shared by the Cybertruck Owners Club, offers a glimpse into an upcoming advertisement for the all-electric pickup truck, indicating that the Cybertruck will also incorporate a rear display.

Look at Rear Cabin Space of Tesla Cybertruck
In the video clip, the Cybertruck can be seen navigating off-road terrain, with an individual using a gimbal setup to capture footage. Notably, a rear display has been integrated into the back of the center console, mirroring the setup seen in the Model S, Model X, and now the Model 3 Highland. With this addition, the Cybertruck joins the lineup of Tesla vehicles featuring this feature, leaving the Model Y as the only model without it. However, it’s likely that the Model Y will receive a similar upgrade in the future, following in the footsteps of the Model 3 Highland.
The video also offers a glimpse of the Cybertruck’s rear seating area, which appears slightly constrained with several adults seated side by side. It’s worth noting that the presence of a full gimbal setup inside the vehicle during the video shoot may have distorted this perception.

Production Version Better Than Concept
One noteworthy observation from EV enthusiasts is that the Cybertruck in the video is equipped with more “standard” Tesla seats, in contrast to the sharp, angular seats featured in the original Cybertruck prototype from late 2019. The prototype’s seats followed the vehicle’s minimalist and angular design. However, Tesla, under the leadership of CEO Elon Musk, has a history of delivering production vehicles that surpass their concept versions. Given Musk’s assertion that the Cybertruck is a potential magnum opus for Tesla, it would be surprising if the company were to release the vehicle with rear seats inferior to those of the original prototype.
